JEFF BANKS EXHIBITION OPENS IN BEIJING

 The Beijing Shin Kong Place shopping center honored Jeff Banks with a 250meter square exhibition portraying his life in fashion design on September 5th.

 The exhibition consisted of photographs of Jeff Banks work from the 1960s through to the present day. Examples of his work for the Olympic winning bid committee, the Australian Green Edge professional cycling team and his most recent design for the opening ceremony clothes for the Belize Olympic contingent.
 Also on exhibit were many of the honours that Jeff Banks has one over the past 5 decades of design including Best British Designer award, Life Time achievement awards and Medal for International design and design education.

 There were also TV screens playing various television shows that Jeff has presented over the past 25 years.
 There was also a special selection of cycling memorabilia from Jeff’s many charity bike rides throughout Europe along with the now famous bike that he used on the Lands End to John O’Groats for sports relief.
 The exhibition has been attended by thousands of Beijing Chinese people intrigued with some of the design work of one of Britain’s best know designers.
